CHSNAA Commemorative Brick Wall
You can purchase a brick for yourself, as a gift,
in memory of a classmate or teacher, or for
your class or organization. You will receive a certificate suitable for framing.

Engravings are a maximum of three lines with 20 characters per line. (If you want all caps, only 16 characters will fit per line.) Spaces and punctuation count as characters.  All lines will be centered on the brick.

You can order your brick on this website at "Order Online."
Include the words you want on your brick in the
"Note to Seller" area.
Or you can mail your check for $100 for each brick to:
CHSN Alumni Association, 450 South Claiborne Avenue,
New Orleans, LA 70112.
In 2023, the school will be moving to a new building on Delgado's City Park campus. Because of this, we are no longer installing new bricks on the Commemorative Wall in the current Education Building. Our plan is to move all the bricks to a future meditation labyrinth at the new site.

A meditation labyrinth creates a space for quiet contemplation, for respite and renewal. The Charity Labyrinth will also provide a focal point for the Charity School of Nursing identity as we move from our historic location to the City Park Campus.

The family of Patricia Pankey '69 have committed to partial funding of the meditation labyrinth in her honor.

The Patricia Carreras Pankey Memorial Labyrinth will visually and emotionally preserve the distinction of Charity School of Nursing within the wider health care programs at the new Ochsner Center for Nursing and Allied Health.

An octagonal shape will reflect the design of the traditional Charity nursing pin, as will an adjacent fountain featuring a pelican caring for her young. Trees and benches will surround the space, and additional bricks from Charity community will be added to the labyrinth over time, continuing to connect Charity students and alumni to their history. We will be sharing more plans for the labyrinth as they take shape.

Each brick preserves a memory
that will last for generations.
