Product Detail:

Lacey Sanders was a 2006 graduate of Charity School of Nursing. Lacey was a talented nurse and mentor. For 18 years, she touched many lives through her career as an ICU RN and Clinical Supervisor at Touro Infirmary and had recently transferred to the PACU at University Medical Center. She loved her patients, whom she treated with great respect and compassion, and was loved and respected by all her colleagues. Lacey was a proud member of one of New Orleans' most well-known all-female marching krewes, the Pussyfooters. She had just celebrated her 10th year with the Pussyfooters and was an essential dance leader for the group. Her infectious smile and magnetic personality were given an outlet to bring joy to the community through dance and service, while adorned in pink and orange.  She passed away on March 17, 2026, at the age of 43 years old. This scholarship was established in her memory by her Pussyfooter friends to benefit Charity students.
